The position involves outside sales in the Southwest Region of the US and in Mexico. Internship - Strategic Sourcing - El Paso, Tx - The International Group is searching for a new intern responsible for supporting the buyers as needed in the purchase of materials to meet production requirements. Some of these duties include placing orders with appropriate suppliers, confirming price and availability, resolving order and delivery issues when escalated by plant materials management, and responding to plant and supplier inquiries. Supports the RFQ and ECM documentation processes as required.
This position requires frequent contact with supplier customer service, IEC manufacturing materials management, engineering, advanced manufacturing engineering and others in strategic sourcing. The work is transactional and administrative.
